Calera is a small, laid back town with friendly residents, new restaurants and fast food places.  It is centrally located between Dallas and Oklahoma City on hwy 75/69, and only five miles south of Durant, Ok. The fastest growing city in Oklahoma.

Our home sets conveniently just two blocks off hwy 75 on a large lot with tall shade trees in both the front and back yard. It has three bedrooms, two baths and a two car garage.   The living and dining area is large, open, light and airy with a ceiling fan that stirs a cool breeze in the summer, and a gas log fire place that warms up the space and adds ambiance in the winter.

It is sparsely and tastefully furnished, with beds to sleep six (See Gallery) The patio is large and equipped with a propane grill and a picnic table for your cooking pleasure.

Attractions: Lake Texoma, with all it has to offer and Platter flats Resort with boat docks and ramps just eight miles from the house.  Plus, other resorts near by.

There are four golf courses and a driving range within a 20 mile radius (See Events Page for location).  Plus, the Choctaw Casino and Coliseum three minutes north on hwy75 where you can gamble, shop, eat, go to concerts, rodeo’s and see other events.

In Durant  The Magnolia Capital of Oklahoma, you will find: Southeastern State University, with its Shakespearean Festival and Sports Complex, the Three Valley Museum that features early day law and Doctor’s offices, plus America Indian exhibits.  And only 20 miles away, is Fort Washita which was garrisoned by United States troops from 1842 until it was abandoned at the outbreak of the Civil War, in 1861.
